Brianna Kirby is a passionate photographer based in the greater San Francisco Bay area. Having trained at the Hallmark Institute of Photography in western Massachusetts, she is well versed in studio and environmental portraiture as well as commercial advertising and product photography.
Brianna is primarily interested in documentary photography and perpetually intrigued by people and their motivations in life: their dreams, goals, achievements, failures, passions, cultures and spiritual beliefs – their day-to-day joys and struggles. Her photography involves little or no manipulation and focuses mainly on capturing the essence of her subjects and their surroundings.
Comfortable with both film and digital capture, Brianna works with 35mm, medium format, and large format camera systems. She has also had extensive instruction on digital retouching and post-production work. However, Brianna prefers to spend her time behind the camera.
